according to the bible we are to pray for our leaders.

1 Timothy 2:1:  ”First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people,  2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way.”

Barak Hussein Obama is no friend of God.
he has in just a few short months pushed gay rights, abortion, wouldn't even acknowledge the national day of prayer, and other un biblical ideas down the throats of the American people.
I do not wish to see him fail, i pray for his salvation.

the song says "hes here to save us all"  obama can not save anyone, that is Jesus' job.

Act 4:12  Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

this is speaking of Jesus Christ

I have to say, such song is an example of idolatry ;)
Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light. Because I have sinned against him, I will bear the LORD's wrath, until he pleads my case and establishes my right. He will bring me out into the light. - Micah 7: 8-9

I didn't wanna be discouraging...

But I'm confused as to why this was posted.  It's not quite 'christian' although it makes reference to God, it's about as Christian as US money that has 'In God We Trust' on it.  I don't think the song is very good.  First of all, it looks like the singer's just trying to ride on the coattails of the election and Obama's popularity to sell the CDs because there's no way he could sell the song based on the lyrics or the music alone.  And you can't say that his 'style' is different or country is a different genre, because I listen to country, and that isn't it.  Or at least, if it is, it isn't good country.

I'm sorry but you misunderstood the song, Living the Dream, it does NOT say Obama is here to save us all, it says he is here to HELP us all.  I know that Jesus is our savior.
