God is moving me.
« on: January 27, 2010, 09:49:00 PM »
Gos has confirmed it today, that it is time for me to leave the church i am pasturing.
This is the hardest thing i believe I have had to do in my Christian walk.
I am making the announcement this Sunday morning.
I am in tears as I write this.
Please pray for me.
Please pray for the Church.

I know God is going to use me where he is sending me, but The church i am in now is where I gave my heart to God.
Please just pray. ....

This year is said to be a year of "changing seasons".. God is moving in so many ways that sometimes we find hard to understand.

But the test is whether we trust in Him even when it seems confusing to us.

I'm sure God will guide you every step of the way! :)

How was it last Sunday? And how are you today?
Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light. Because I have sinned against him, I will bear the LORD's wrath, until he pleads my case and establishes my right. He will bring me out into the light. - Micah 7: 8-9

Last Sunday as I stood before my church and made the announcement was the hardest thing i think i have ever done.
God saw me through it with a lot of tears. I will attend service at the new church this coming Sunday.

As for how i am now.
I am still sad i left my friends at eh old church but I know i will make new ones.
One of the deacons made the comment that they will book me to come preach soon, so things are going Gods way.

 As they Should.

Please keep praying.

Praise God! well me too... Philip and I were asked if we already want to serve God.. its in my blog > http://blessedchette.net/ :)

Quote
It has been 7 months attending "Victory Angeles" and this month Philip and I were offered to join Music, Ushering and technical. We have missed serving God inside the Church and we are really excited to work with our new spiritual family. But we felt as this is not yet the time we have to serve God inside the Ministry. We wanted to really undergo process. So Philip and I prayed for a sign. "God if you want us to serve you now inside the Church, then give us time through our schedule. But if not, then send more clients of the publishing house." And this February, God send more Publishing clients... so we got our sign. Not yet. God said. But Philip and I are looking forward in the future that we will be able to serve God not only through our lives, outside the Church... but as well as inside the Church

I will pray for you :D
God really has plans for all of us :)

   Yes, preacherman.  Thanks for shairing.

Have learned long ago our Lord often uses adversity in our lives to move us to other fields of ministry to advance the cause and desires of Christ.

Recently several of us have had the experience of being directed by events that make it clear that time to move was now.    I believe those time are make very clear under the direction of the Holy Spirit.    After all, we receive our marching orders from the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.    (PTL)

If you think of it in military terms, I believe the term is, "advancing" =)  the process of advancing is rather stressful, sometimes annoying and very difficult.  After all, you're moving a whole army.  But the other side of it is that you're not pulling back; you're going into enemy territory.  It's more dangerous, but you're pushing into satan's territory-- pushing him out of his comfort zone, so to speak =p.

I pray that you will lean on God and allow Him to sustain you through this, and every other adversity that comes your way.

Its the not knowing  that we seem to fear...   trying to remember and trusting God can truly be a challenge while believing in my heart that God is working all things for my good and He is in full control.    Praise the Lord!

Will continue to pray for you.

Lord, I thank you that you will sustain this young man thru every phase of his life, help him to remember always that you are in charge, no matter how it feels, or looks, you never loose control, and you have a plan that you are working out for his life, he may not be able to make sense of it right now, but, later, things will be more clear. Right now, he is trying to make the adjustments that you are asking him to make, and he is having difficult time in doing so, please comfort him, in this season of his life, and make this move as easy as possible for him, and his family, if he has one. Be near him, and assure him, that he is safe in your hands, and you know exactly what you are doing. Help him to be able to stay in contact with some of the ones that he was closest to in his old church, and help him to quickly make friends in the new church. We thank you ahead of time for what you are doing in and thru him, and we give you praise for every good and perfect gift that comes from you. Amen.   God be with you...  :)

Hey Preacherman, what's the status of this?  How has God been moving in your life in regards to this particular prayer? =)
