What kind of ministries are you involved in?

Think about a ministry you've been thinking of getting involved in, but for various reasons, hesitated.  This post may be God's reminder to you that in the Body of Christ, there are no useless, no vestigial pieces.  Every member of the Body of Christ has a use, a purpose.  How will you begin to serve in your church?

God gave us a ministry of reconciliation by restoring our marriage first. Restoration didn't happen overnight but from the very beginning He gave us a clear vision and a purpose for the calling.
We began by availing our selves first, meaning there was no procrastination, we just made sure we were there. We did not know how we were going to accomplish it. The only question was, how can we help other couples with their marriages when our marriage is a mess?
We began to study the material and soon realized that we needed to first apply it to our lives. We began the first class and we were still a mess, so then the Holy Spirit began to make the corrections as we taugh every lesson, sometimes, our students would ministered to us, that's what we call grace!

Here we are now 8 years later. Docens of couples have gone through the marital class and we have produced many leaders who now also teach the same class. We simply caught the vision a ran with it, God did the rest. We pray the churches in our city will adopt the marital class and one day we will see the glory of God all throughtout the San Fernando Valley.

How do you serve at church?
Right now, I started attending the new church and they already approached me to commit once again, but as of today... I am serving God through my family.
 
What kind of ministries are you involved in? 
My calling has been in Worship Leading (I used to be a Worship leader and a head)

What are your duties in those ministries?
Worship leading

What has God been doing through those ministries?
When I was in that place, God has been multiplying the worship leaders through trainings.

What is the direction you see God taking that ministry/ministries?
Before God has given me a vision of "Choir" in the making, now? dunno.. hehehe.

How will you be involved in this growth?
Well I grew up in this ministry I've become really close to God and I learned how to touch God's heart through singing

As of today, I am waiting for God's timing to commit in the other church. But of course, my calling is worship leading so I know that God will call and use me in that field one day

How do you serve at church?  
I serve my church as its Pastor.  I will have been Pastor for one year in a few months and i need all of you to pray that God moves the congergation in teh direction it needs to  as well as me.


What kind of ministries are you involved in? 
aside form pastoring the church i counsel men and women for marrage and in marrage.


What are your duties in those ministries?
My duties for Pastor are to feed the flock and lead them the way God tell me too, for the counselling i rely on the Holy Ghost to give me the words they need to hear.


What has God been doing through those ministries?
God is working on the church as a whole (including me) to grow stronger in his Spirit and leave fleshly unbiblical traditions behind.

What is the direction you see God taking that ministry/ministries?
It makes me want to shout praises to God when i think about it. God will soon set his spirit upon those willing to be baptised in it and when that comes,... God alone will be in control!!!

How will you be involved in this growth?
As pastor, I will be at the forefront of it, but i wam willing to just be a part of what God is doing.

No saint myself, have found a church home. Just need to find a means of getting there. Otherwise am hoping to really serve as a form of prayer warrior for those in need of it at the church. God knows, we all could use a little quality time on our knees in prayer.

How do you serve at church? 

*I serve by edifying and interceding for the Church.

What kind of ministries are you involved in? 

*I serve in our kids Church ministry as a Teacher. In our Youth Ministry, as a member of the Events Team.

What are your duties in those ministries?

*Everything boils down to this: to honor God and make disciples

What has God been doing through those ministries?

*engage, establish, equip and empower believers

What is the direction you see God taking that ministry/ministries?

*believers having a genuine intimate relationship with God, even kids. The younger generations rise up and take their stand, influencing so much lives for God.

How will you be involved in this growth?

*by being faithful in what God has entrusted me
